The service was better than the food, and the food is rather good. The young crew was eager to help people find utensils and extend hospitality.
If you get a ground beef burrito, expect it to be tasty, but soupy. The refried beans are also a bit thin and that combination is going to need a plate, like a wet burrito.
I only had the one item, so my review is also a little thin, but my first visit was satisfying. -

A place we want to like because we live nearby, but enough with the crappy food and terribe service.
A burrito should not be a sloppy, soupy mess. It should not decompose at first bite, like a mummified corpse -- only the opposite. Time and time again, with one recent exception, the gourmet vegetarian burrito is a sloppy, soupy mess. Why? Company policy seems to be to only put a few grains of rice and a few beans in the burrito. Balance; rice balances the wet vegetables and absorbs the liquid so that the tortilla shell does not fall apart so fast.
Please listen to the customer's responses and requests. Don't ask me what type of beans beans I want (black) only to start filling with re-fried beans after my clear response. Don't use a flour shell (tortilla) when i clearly request green or red shell (verde or el rojo). Etc.
One time, my wife's burrito had a peice of chipped tile. To her credit, since almost losing a tooth on that piece of hidden stone, my wife no longer tolerates this dump. She always was a bit wiser. Okay, a lot.
Try to correct the issues as these arise, and attitude erupts coupled with a sudden inability to comprehend Spanish or English -- we is a multi-linquistical familia after all.
Many, many issues. Convenience, like fast food or Village-expensive gasoline, just not good enough. This place sucks. We can do better. And will.
NEVER AGAIN. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice -- or dozens of times -- and I "won't get fooled again." (Credit: George W. Bush) -

Gosh we still love this place after so many years. My daughter begs to go weekly! The addition of bowls is excellent. And the owner and staff are very nice. Every community needs a place like this!

My family has ordered take out from this place for a few years and we love it. Best hole in the wall Mexican take out food in the area. They do have small seating areas inside and outside if you do want to eat there. Mostly we do take out. I love the Chili Relleno with rice and beans. Some of my family has the veggie burritos and the rest of the family love the super wet burritos. I have one daughter that comes for a visit and stops there first just to get a super wet burrito and a container of their red sauce. Sometimes she picks up dinner for her family and takes it up to Antioch. We go there about once a week for take out and it's a treat for me not to have to cook. Once and a while we eat there if we are all together. They know us very well and are always super nice. I hope they never close.

I really loved my shrimp super burrito here. Texture and flavors were spot on, and the salsa bar was great. This place would be a top spot in the Mission. I am shocked by the rating. Should be 4.5+.
